Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV show Awkward in 2011, which she has been on since 2011. Tarlov was born and was raised in Manhattan, New York, as the younger of two daughters. Tarlov began her professional career at the age of 10 when she was Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was well-loved by a group of seventh graders. As she got older she spent her summers at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. She studied a wide range of acting styles and received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The school she attended was The Atlantic Theater Company and could incorporate writing into her performance in The LAByrinth Theater Master class. Molly changed her winter coat with dark sunglasses and headed towards Los Angeles. It wasn't long before she was offered a three-word character in iCarly that attracted the interest to her parents. In the years since, she's made several TV appearances. In addition, she created the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly pretends that she can play basketball well even though she's not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
