Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her lead roles in many television series but also her impressive performances in film. Her work is a hit on Canadian as well as American TV. Emily was interested in acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie in the film studio. Emily began attending classes in acting, and then auditioning after realizing that she loved acting. Her first audition was for a couple of commercials before getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Scared of Darkness? The only thing she could get was one that was silent. Her first break came around the age of 15 when she was cast in the WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance in the WB show Glory Days, which was canceled after nine episodes, attracted the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek.
